 I used to see disturbing things...black rolling clouds in corners, and a shadowy figure outside of windows, and I used to hear creepy whispering. That doesn't happen anymore, but I still see things...but they are not scary. When I am manic, everything is brighter and cleaner and glows...I see colour and life vibrating in everything...and when I am euphoric everything is floating and dream like and amplified...I feel like I am off of the ground when I walk, I can hear super high pitch[I think like a dog can] and I can hear the electricity buzzing in the air. Sometimes things glow so much it feels like I will go blind if I look at them too closely. I feel all tingly, and I just want to laugh out loud because everything feels so cool! Everything looks surreal. I wonder if others see what I'm seeing.

BTW what you described Paz, that's how I have felt too...I forgot about stuff like super high pitches but OMG I notice it too.  Every appliance that was on I heard it's super sonic high pitched humming. That buzzed feeling, every nerve is aware and lit up with electricity, sometimes I just can't stand it and I bust out laughing.

 The other posts are still up, I split the topic so part of it would be on the front page.
  I'm sort of glad to know that someone else hears the electricity buzzing....I really thought that I was totally crazy for hearing that.

YAY i'm not the only one!!! Ever since i was little i could here in another room if the tv was on in the living room....or a radio was on.....its like a high pitched screetchy sound with a little crackle to it...hard to describe.

 How do all of you feel when you have a manic mood swing? I'm curious if others get similar feelings.

When i'm manic i feel this burst of everlasting energy. Sometimes i'm hyper and so happy i can barely see, read or think or speak in understandable sentences. Sometimes i'm hyper and aggressive and i become self destructive. I'm usually the life of the party. I feel like superwoman sometimes catwoman when i'm manic. I get horny too when i'm manic. I'm also what i recently discovered is called socially intrusive. I also am really loud and explosive in everything i do.

At first Im fine and only talk more and louder.  I am more energetic and feel aroused easier.  Then I stop sleeping, get paranoid and all hell breaks loose.  Im convinced of a conspiracy and start hearing voices.

 Hey, I talk louder too! That is one warning sign that I have noticed...DJ notices it too. I think it's because of all the excitement that I feel...and because I hear all the electricity buzzing, it seems loud, so I speak louder. But I'm sure no one else can hear the buzzing...

Yeah my volume goes up a bit and I also use a higher pitch than normal in my excitement.  Other than that, just read some of my posts back in the later part of Febuary
