I used to watch programs on aliens on TV and be paranoid as shit afterwards.  I was afraid to go to sleep because they might abduct me and afraid I'd see one in my house.

Oh goodness yes! I get so scared after watching anything even remotely scary. I watched Ghost Adventures all afternoon yesterday and then I was terrified the rest of the night. And of course, I was home alone. Granted I used to live in a haunted house so I can totally relate to some things on that show. HOWEVER nothing ever got me. I know they were there but they can't do anything to you so try not to be too scared   Smiley

the irony of it all, is that I love horror movies. but rarely are they made anymore with an amazing fear factor. most of the time it is just shock factor.

I pretty much stopped watching scary movies because of that.  It doesn't even take a movie to get me scared anymore.

I remember when I lived downtown I would run back to my house after taking the trash out like someone was watching me or gonna get me and that was like every time I took the trash out at night and it didn't even have to be a night were I had watched a scary movie could be a regular night I hated having neighbors so glad I am back out in the country where I don't have any sirens or gun shots or lights constantly going by ... so glad to be where I am
