My girlfriend has bipolar II, and I want to help her as much as possible

My girlfriend of 2 months recently had a bad episode that I will get into in a later post. That motivated me to actually learn more about this illness, I'm mainly here to seek advice. I've dealt with that last episode out of instinct, and tonight I talked her from a panic attack while suicidal, to actually smiling.
3 weeks into our relationship, she told me about her condition, and about dsome of the things it made her do in the past, and at that moment, I decided that I was willing to help her through it, and that I wanted to learn how to help her through it. Because I love her that much.
Im kind of excited to see what I can learn from this forum. I want to help her get this condition under control as much as possible.

Welcome to the site! I hope we can provide you with the information you need. Being in a relationship with someone who has been diagnosed with BiPolar can be a bumpy road. I commend you for taking a positive approach in providing support for your girlfriend. I am also BP2 and I look forward to sharing my experiences with you.
