Anyone get blurred vision as a side affect of your meds? a few of mine list that as a warning. I was just wondering, because my vision has been pretty blurry lately. When we get to a place where I can, I'm going to make an appointmet with the vision center. I dunno if my vision is acting this way because of meds, illness, or just old age. But it sucks.

I get really bad dehydration, dry mouth and nausea but I have mints they cure it in a few seconds. The side affects of meds are not fun!!!!!!

My dehydration is the worst cause it does affect my vision. If I don't have enough water and it's too warm i'll pass out. I have to make sure I feel hydrated.

Not fun. You should talk to the pdoc about your vision though if it's not dehydration issues that cause that, it could turn into a real problem. Mine is only when i'm thirsty then I drink some water or keep my mouth hydrated and i'm fine.

Hope you talk with you pdoc and get it figured out. I don't know what meds i'm on that cause it for sure, since they all cause it so....

Do you know what meds is affecting your vision? That's bad you should talk with you pdoc about it.

i was looking through my meds, and abilify is the only one that causes blurred vision as a side affect. I am already on a minimal does (5mg). I will talk to the pdoc about getting off of it altogether if this continues.

I hope you can get that figured out, to get off the med that's causing it. It must be the meds cause you aren't old.  Wink

i have suffered with blurred vision on and off for some time and i know with me it is definately a side effect of the  drugs i am taking.....i get when on a higher dosage of abilify, depakote did it too and now the serequel.
i too went and had my eyes tested thinking maybe it really was my vision but the optometerist said it was fine.
the main problem that i have with blurred vision is when i am out it can make it difficult for me to judge how far away cars are when i want to cross the road, which can be a bit dodgy sometimes.......
i forget what medication package you are but it might be worth investigating along those lines as many of the pills were are given have blurrred vision as a side effect

I notice it a little bit on lithium at the higher dose I'm on now.

Antipsyxchotics usually come  with that little label about operating heavy machinery don't they? As if we all drive bulldozers!
